We collect what we need to run ConvoSim — your Google profile info for login, the scenarios and conversations you create, and basic usage data. Conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI. Payments go through Stripe. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use tracking cookies.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture from your Google account. This is handled through Supabase Auth. We don't see or store your Google password.
We store the scenarios you build (persona descriptions, conversation goals, scenario names) and the full conversation history from your practice sessions, including AI-generated feedback and scores. This is stored in our database so you can review past attempts.
We track daily usage counts (scenarios created, conversations started) to enforce free tier limits. This resets daily and is tied to your account.
If you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your account status. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC.
Your conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. When you have a simulated conversation, the persona description, your messages, and the conversation history are sent to Anthropic's servers to generate responses and feedback.
Anthropic has its own data handling policies. You can review them at anthropic.com/policies/privacy. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent through their API is not used to train their models.
We also store conversation history and AI feedback in our own database so you can review your past practice sessions.
ConvoSim relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Your data is stored in Supabase's managed infrastructure. We retain your account data, scenarios, and conversation history for as long as your account is active.
When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, including your scenarios, conversation history, feedback, and usage records.

We only use essential cookies for authentication, managed by Supabase. These keep you logged in across sessions. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies.
ConvoSim is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. We don't knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we'll remove it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Our database uses row-level security (RLS) policies so users can only access their own data. All API calls to the AI are proxied through our server — the client never communicates directly with Anthropic. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
That said, no system is perfectly secure. We can't guarantee absolute security of your data.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of ConvoSim after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
